Symbiote is an internal tool for 8th Day Gym's coaching staff. Only invited Google accounts can sign in. It stores very little about the people who use it: enough to know who is signed in and to run the keys that connect Claude.

What we store

When you sign in with Google, we receive and keep your email address, name and Google account identifier. Sign-in is Google only, so there is no password. If you create a key to connect Claude, we keep its label, a one-way hash of it (never the key itself), when you made it and when it was last used, and a count of its recent use so a key can't be overused.

The workouts you search are the gym's own class programming, not personal data. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and no analytics or advertising trackers.

Who processes it

Supabase hosts the database and handles sign-in. Vercel hosts the site. Google confirms who you are. OpenAI turns the gym's programming text, and the search descriptions Claude sends, into numbers used for search. It receives only that text, never your account or email, so leave personal details out of what you ask Claude to look up. If you connect Claude, your conversations stay with Anthropic under your own Claude account; only the requests Claude makes to Symbiote (searching, opening days and, for admins, saving changes) reach Symbiote.

Your choices

You can revoke your Claude keys yourself at any time. To see what we hold about you, or to have your account removed, email info@8thdaygym.com. Removing your account deletes your keys with it.
